A free training for tutors who want to teach Foundation GCSE Maths with confidence, without the fear of letting students down.
Who it's for:
Tutors teaching below GCSE who want to step up
Tutors avoiding GCSE because it feels overwhelming
Tutors who worry about 'getting it wrong' with exam students
Tutors already teaching some GCSE Maths who want reassurance they’re on the right track, and support when doubts creep in

Teaching GCSE Maths isn’t just another level of content.
It comes with a weight of responsibility that many tutors feel, but don’t always talk about.
It’s not that you can’t do the Maths.
It’s the fear of getting something wrong and it affecting a student’s confidence or results.
You might already be tutoring some GCSE, or thinking about stepping up.
But instead of feeling excited, you feel cautious. You double-check yourself. You worry about whether you’re doing enough – or doing the right things.
And because GCSE feels so important, it can quickly become overwhelming.
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone – and you’re not doing anything wrong.
This webinar will help you to:
Feel clearer about whether you’re ready to teach GCSE Maths
Understand why GCSE Maths feels overwhelming (and how to reduce it)
Learn how tutors protect GCSE outcomes without being perfect

I’m Elaine, a GCSE Maths tutor and examiner who didn’t start with a Maths degree.
I built Kickstart because I know what it feels like to care deeply about students, but not feel ready to carry GCSE responsibility alone.
What will happen in the session:
We’ll work through a short Foundation GCSE lesson together, then look at how examiners actually award marks - so you can see how outcomes are protected in real life.
